The Rakaia Gorge is easy to find and is just 15 minutes from the Lodge.

Murray McDonald has operated this river for over 20 years and so, is well experienced to ensure that your safety and enjoyment is not compromised.

Safety is paramount with a maximum of 12 passengers per trip and life jackets provided.

The Gorge has a lot to offer and various trips from the "walkway" drop-off to the full gorge trip, which takes approximately 40 minutes.

For even more excitement we can organise heli-jet and jet-rafting by special arrangement (minimum 4 passengers).
