Activities

For those who venture outside of the Village, the area has an abundance of walking areas.

These cater for many different ranges of fitness levels and include station walks at Peak Hill, Middle Rock and the award wining Washpen Falls.

For more structured walks the Department of Conservation (DoC) has a number in the area. The closest and one that provides the most stunning views is the Peak Hill Walkway which can be found here http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/tracks-and-walks/canterbury/waimakariri-area/peak-hill-route/
